ABSTRACT

URGE FOR THE SUBSTANCE: VULCĂNESCU AND GOLOPENȚIA FOR A REBUILDING OF SOCIOLOGY

Is there any need for a phenomenological approach in social science? If yes, what role does it have? How such a paradigm has worked inside Gusti’s Sociological School? We give here some insights to it, by sampling the work of Mircea Vulcanescu – the most complex young thinker of the School, and Anton Golopentia – the main Gusti’s aide. The theoretical framework will be based on data provide by Noica, Blaga and Bernea.  The study takes the shape of a reader in order to present the sampled oeuvre as such, with minimal intrusions.
