This article is a laborious statistical analysis of migration in Romania, viewed from a historical perspective. It presents exclusively official statistical data and information calculated and published in the period 1865–1938. The author’s purpose is to provide, to a special reader and not only, an overall view on the evolution of the migratory phenomenon, in terms of the geographical projection of the nationality of migrants and of the border transit points.
