ABSTRACT
THEORY ON COMMUNITY MORPHOLOGY.
FOUR ANALYTICAL OUTLINES
The article approaches the question of social morphology, with a focus on the design of communitarian morphology. In examining this issue, I have started from the theoretical models on communitarian structure devised by Charles Cooley, Robert Redfield, Mark Granovetter și Robert MacIver who have come up with a common denominator. It is beyond the scope of this article to enter a theoretical debate by employing a structuralist or constructivist perspective. The article aims to highlight the nexus between the configuration of human general capacities and dispositions, the common places of social organizations and the forms of collective manifestations. The article demonstrates that between the four theoretical models, albeit independently developed, there is a coherence and complementarity that allows the emergence of an extended theoretical portrayal, endowed with a large explanatory and descriptive power in order to grasp the communitarian morphological model.
